Story
Hi there,
Harvest have decided to set ourselves a challenge to improve our health and at the same time enhance the lives of young people with disabilities.
Harvest have registered to be part of JUNK FREE JUNE, 2013.
We've each made the following pledges:
Izabella: will give up coffee & alcohol,
Noel: will give up chocolate & alcohol,
Inbam: will give up chocolate and will run with the dog three times a week,
Alex: will give up chocolate and go to the gym four times a week,
Gerardette: will give up chocolate and nuts,
Mario: will give up coffee & chocolate.
All of this we will do in the month of June and we hope to have lost a few kilos and gained loads more energy. We also hope, that through your generosity, we can raise enough funds to assist young people with a disability to experience new and healthy life experiences, such as going to the gym, joining a performing arts group, taking up Tai Chi or learning new life skills. In other words to do the things that you and I take for granted.

The four service areas are Disability, - Youth, Community & Children’s Services The Junction Works has a pool of experienced and dedicated staff as well as an exceptional group of volunteers and supporters.
